The gage uses an integrated probe to automatically determine whether the substrate is ferrous or non-ferrous, then it either detects the thickness of non-magnetic coating on a magnetic substrate (ferrous) or the insulating coating on a non-magnetic conductive substrate (nonferrous). Testing performance is non-destructive and extremely accurate. Ideal for a broad range of applications in manufacturing, engineering and commercial inspection.
